I have actually been working on some images lately. A few of these are pretty... senior portrait. Crazy thing is I think I finally have some images I actually like.
This first one is a statuette of Mary and Christ from the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake. If you haven't been, it is beautiful.

These next ones are from our trip to Indiana. These are some Holga shots. You gotta love the Holga.

And these are me playing around on the 4th of July. My in-laws were going to The Stadium of Fire. Apparently what ever they were doing required them to dress like they were in the music man... I don't get it.

So I am working on putting together a portfolio to send to some schools. Today I am going to put up my pre-processed images. Then when I finally get around to finishing the images I will put up my finished ones. And I am sure I will ad some more. I would like to get a few daggeurrotypes and wet plate collodian images done before too long. Be excited.

Cali

A bunch of people in the photo program went to California over spring break. Maybe later I will take some time to tell you all about it but for now I'll put a few images from our trip.

Here are my shots for my low key assignment. I am still amazed at the detail I got in that coat. I think that is the one I am going to use for the assignment.

Large Format

Travis (my photo teacher) gave us a long exposure assignment. All of our exposures had to be at least 5 seconds. He taught us about reciprocity failure so we could get all our exposure right too. I was excited becuase I spent way too much time trying this stuff last semester.
So Thursday after work I went to Provo down by the rail yard and took some pictures at about 12:30. My shortest exposure ended up being 3 minutes and 45 seconds. And I think I got some pretty good shots. Here they are.

Ichi Ban

First blog entry. . . ever.

Here are the pictures I used for my portfolio in my Photo II class. I noticed my pictures were a lot different from the other people in the class. And i think I was the one of the few without a definite style.

Is that good or bad?
